No artwork to display

The lady who owned the house we moved into, her husband used to paint. He was awful, but his paintings were framed in these amazing frames. He's dead now so I'm sure he doesn't mind I threw out his artwork (the lady took the good ones with her anyway) and put in some $1 fabric I found in Value Village instead. It looks classy!

I, too, love damask and the idea of framing fabrics (although I haven't yet done it). That green wall is great!

Thanks guys! I have a bit of an obsession with damask... It doesn't show in the photo but the fabric itself is a bright silky yellow.

wow, this is really cool!  I agree with lolafalk, if you pick the right colors and fabrics, it's quite nice.

I like your "framed fabrics," especially the orange damask print  - it contrasts very  nicely with that brilliant green wall.
