is it easy to install hardwood floors?

WHo has install hard wood floors? any ladies done that job?

Doesn't involve sawing? and measuring to the tininest degree? I would do it myself if I had the confidence to do it. it would be gradifying. I don't mind getting my hands dirty.

what is your feed back on this?

I tried it and it is impossible. if you are off on themillionth degree it wont fit perfectly and if you ae doing the labor plus $ you wat it perfect. I thinki it is one of those jobs you pay for....sorry

Real hardwood does involve sawing, and lots of measuring.

Tongue and groove laminate flooring is much easier for the DIY-er, (though it also involves sawing and measuring).

Hardwood is very expensive, and it's a big risk if you don't know what you're doing.
