Bedroom Makeover

By livyschoolgirl

My 17, almost 18-year-old sister has decided to redo her bedroom. It currently is sage green and white (2 walls in each color) with purple curtain) which is cute but not quite sophisticated enough now that she is reaching adulthood. Below are some conceptual ideas centered around sophistication that I have made up to serve as a starting point for her bedroom makeover. What do you think? Which is your favorite? Vote below to share your opinion!

Cool sophistication is all about ornate, beautiful details, calmness, with white or light wood.

Rich sophistication is about natural influences with deep earthy tones, dark mahogany wood and touches of pewter.

Modern sophistication is about bold geometic patterns, simple colors, clean lines and classic, yet modern pieces.

Yes, I understand what you mean, especially with some of the decor choices I included in the pictures. However, I think, especially the cool sophistication, they could be made to reflect a younger type style when picking out the actual pieces for her room. Originally when I was putting these ideas together I had more colors in with the rich sophistication but I felt like they made it too young - maybe I should just stick a few back in to get it to be more age reflecting! :)

I like the modern best... the others don't feel very 'young' to me.
