Meet Mr. Electro Vox. His Likes include 'Listen', 'Talk', and 'Door'. His dislikes are New Fangled Entryphone Systems and smokers.
The obsolete entry system in our hallway had been bothering me for a while. It's in rather an awkward spot and I had been thinking about putting a picture or something over it, until I spotted Matt Kirkland's Googly-Eyed Project (Matt is the chap behind In Vestimentis Ursum the Creepy/Fabulous naked robot toy experiment.)
Now, I love googly eyes, anthropomorphizing anything is just, well, cool and thus Mr. Vox was born. No longer an 'it' he is now our official meet and greet robot. Kind of like c3po only suaver.
My sweetie has had to physically restrain me form adding eyes to pretty much everything in our home.
