Mmmmm.... Bubbles. Refill a Foaming Soap Dispenser

By lilybee

Bubbles are brilliant, ergo, foaming hand soap is also brilliant.

We recently scored some Kandoo foaming hand soap for free, but it's Flouro-green-death colour is frankly disconcerting. I wanted to refill the container with something that doesn't look like it will melt your hands but the container warns you not to refill it with anything but Kandoo products.

"PAH!" I said, and did a spot of research.

Turns out that you can simply use your favourite hand soap diluted by 1 part soap to 2 or 3 parts of water (depending how thick your soap is). You fill to about and inch and a bit from the top and then shake it to mix up your soap and water.

Now I just have to figure out a way to disguise the HORRIBLE packaging...

I don't really care for the foaming hand soap, but our daughter does. I'll have to tell her. She recently put herself on a budget, so I'm sure she'll love this idea. Thanks!

Oh, by the way, if the container is plastic why not try Krylon spray paint for plastic? It works on outside plastics so it would work in the bathroom too.
