New Uses For Old Stuff.

By lilybee

Over at realsimple they have a list of alternate decorative uses for  cheap everyday stuff. Which is my kinda list, it includes:

  • A toothbrush holder used as a vase for individual blooms. which would look brill with Peony's IMO.
  • Dish towels used as placemats, which looks all picnicy chic.
  • A cute ribbon bedecked lampshade.
  • And my personal favorite, planters brought inside, topped with glass and used as occasional tables.

For the whole list mosey over to realsimple

I once used floating candles in martini glasses filled with water for a party, but I wouldn't have thought of the binder clips to display photos like that. Very cool. But I second (or third?) the toilet paper rolls in a vase. Wacky.

Storing toilet paper rolls in a vase is certainly something I hadn't seen before!
