Tins... Millions of Tins...

It's a bit of a stretch to call this a how to, as essentially you stick some paper on a baby formula tin, and that's it.

My problem is the sheer quantity of these things, the kid chows his way through one a week, and it seems a shame to just toss them into the recycling, so, what else would you do with them?

I have been using these for years now. Originally I had so many that I used them as (1) decorative Christmas tins (decorated the outside and just stuffed them with goodies and trinkets), but now I'm just down to my canisters. I haven't bothered to decorate them, but maybe I should. I mostly use those to (2) contain my million different varieties of pasta shapes that I feel compelled to keep in stock, and keeping them in canisters keeps the moths out. But I also have a few stashed around the house with an X cut in the top to (3) keep plastic grocery bags (for refilling small trash cans and other uses). Actually my dad keeps one in his car full of plastic bags, too.

Hope that helps for ideas!
