Gardening Primates? Madness!

By lilybee

Spring looks like it may finally be making an appearance in Toronto and I have been thinking green flowery sorts of thoughts. And so, apparently, have these folks....

They are a band of Guerrilla Gardeners (not Gorilla Gardeners, disappointingly) who work in Toronto, making the world slightly more green, one tiny patch at a time.

What do you think? Does this sort of thing appeal? Is it exclusive to Toronto? How would it go down in your neighbourhood?

I shall SO be joining them for their next meet. 'Cause what's not fun about playing in the dirt? With Gorillas...

This super clever post by ecogal has been burning a hole in my pocket (figuratively speaking) and I think it's sort of apropos.

This was SO much fun. On the 24th of May we get to dress as ninjas and go seed bombing. We'll be throwing quick-biodegrading dog poop baggies filled with seeds and dirt into oogly places...  the ninja thing might just be me...

I like it.  I look back at all of the obnoxious things I did "without license, without permit" and none of them turned out quite so fabulous (or applauded).  It's a whole lot better than relocating lawn gnomes any day.  I dig.
