Five inspirational vintage bathroom designs

By lesley

created on: 09/12/08

Ok so most of us don't have the space for jaw dropping batrooms like these. And I'm not even going to talk about money. But a girl can dream...

There are five luxury bathroom designs on show on the page. They are are all roughly historical, reflecting the British styles of their period.

The first - probably my favourite, is a colonial bathroom. A sort of misty dream of where the khaki-shorted Englishman running india in the first half of the » READ MORE

How to maximize storage space in a small kitchen

By lesley

created on: 09/11/08There is a lot written on the web about how to create storage in small kitchens. I stumbled on this one while researching for ideas for my own tiny kitchen area. Party tent planner

By lesley

Marquee plannerI found another free planner - this time a party tent layout planner. You choose the size of your tent and then furnish it with tables, dance floors, stages and so on. Great for a party. And good fun.

You can print or save all plans.

They have been serviceable  but too many are coming up now and the floor needs to be replaced. I don't want linoleum again because it gets damaged by water too easily, and linoleum colors are also a bit drab.

What would anyone recommend as a good practical replacement? I have limited funds. Underneath the floor is concrete. The style of » READ MORE
