So, I finally have some photos of my apartment!

I moved in back in May, but I finally have pictures now!

Ribbon and cloths pins for hanging photos, and a hand painted initial, which I painted myself

these are from aliciabock.etsy.com.... not going to lie to you all, i printed them out myself, because I'm a poor college student... Normally I wouldn't do such a thing (since it's kind of stealing) but I do plan to purchace some of her photography eventually when I have money, so I went ahead and did this to tide myself over...

One of my fav. projects, which of course was difficult to photograph! I took a bunch of sticks from the tree that the neighbors cut down (they were smooth after you peel the leaves off) and I hot glued them together in the middle and then wrapped it w/ some cream colored ribbon for a neat window treatment!

Even more found goodness, I had already decorated the left corner of this wall nook, but I had nothing to fill the other side.... I was originally thinking of some big art, but nothing that i liked seemed to be right.... so finally i got some sticks from a half dead tree across the street, painted them green and blue, and arranged them in what used to be a fish bowl w/ some extra quilt backing to hide the bottom.... I think it's very nice!

Feel free to leave comments! I have one how to I plan to post for a scarf/purse organizer i made out of some sticks and some ribbon, but I need to get good photos first!

Oh yeah, I don't think I'd like gold ones nearly as much... too gaudy for my taste. Good work!

Thanks Bruno! I'm a fan of it too! My roommate had some cute initials in her room that she bought from hobby lobby, but they were the gold tone ones that they charge you WAY too much for... I felt like this was much more desireable, since it not only looks good, but it's also something uniquely mine!
