my rental needs a showerhead upgrade..
By knitratI am renting a house and would like to change the showerhead, but the existing fixture is sealed with silicone tape. How do people deal with this stuff? Should I go at it with a monkey wrench and just force it off and tear the tape or is there a better way to approach it? Also, can anyone suggest how to remove it (it's sticky stuff).

Green Driveways
By knitratI don't even have a driveway to build myself, but I thought you all might like this... I always thought that these building blocks for a grass-covered driveway were a cool concept, but they are no doubt expensive.
Someone at sewgreen (fabulous new diy/craft eco blog btw) came up with the idea of reusing discarded materials used to maintain ski slopes.
