Concrete + Countertops - Experience = ?

I am begininng the process of making molds for home made concrete countertops and wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with concrete work in this manner, and if so, what insider tips do i need to know before hand?Where's a good place to get dyes, stains, glass, and white concrete - things like that. Thanks!  »MORE

Are Sliding Closet Doors Extinct?

The reason I ask is - I can't find them anywhere. When I started looking I figured they would be everywhere from designer stores to Lowe's and Home Depot at very reasonable prices - whomever - I found one place in NYC who would do them custom for $1,000 a door. I was thinking, not so much. Anyone have a clue where they are hiding? Ohh, while I'm thinking about it, I did find some room dividers and it would be easy to put them on tracks and use them, which would work great for too!  »MORE

You mentioned using Zazzle to create 3x5' ish images - if you have an image that is 12x10 or 8x10 at 300 dpi will it enlarge that big or do you have to create it at a  bigger size? That is such a dirt cheap price for a big print. Thanks.

I do, but they are not real good. I'd need to do some searching and see if I took some when we first moved in.... let me look.

Do you have any "before" shots of the bathroom?  It'd be fun to do a little interview thing of your project (the good, the bad, the ugly).. Thoughts?
