My MIL is 87, going faster than me some days.  She moved into an apartment in the same building as ours, which makes things very much easier for all of us.  Good thing I like to do the same things she does: garden, look at other people's gardens and stroll through the parks.  Only problem is having the energy to keep up with her!  And being patient with her need to do things for herself...
