I thought I'd post a couple pictures of a coffee table (actually it was a set of 3 coffee tables) as it was being built - to give you a little bit of an idea of what furniture looks like in the early stages. This is 4" thick mahogany, being glued to make a tabletop. I built these coffee tables for a bar in Chicago called Tavern on Rush.
