This is a picture of the same wall. It's panelled with rift-cut white oak (similar to quarter-sawn oak, but lacks the "flecking" found in quartered oak). The section of wall that is still open will be covered with a large mirror. The sink is made of limestone, and "floats" off the wall on large steel brackets. Full disclosure - this project was designed by an architect, and is being overseen by a general contractor. My part is the installation of the paneling. I'm not taking credit for the work of others... I just think the whole project is really cool.
