I'm slightly neurotic and am just beginning to discover that my once shabby-chic-meets-Victorian style is slowly metamorphosing into a clean, classic, Danish modern look.  Go figure!

Because of gas prices, I am moving out of downtown Houston and out into the suburbs.  YIKES!!!  I don't know how I am going to handle the cultural shock!  I'm also moving into a much, much, MUCH smaller place, but hopefully I'll still be able to put my mark on it.

Oh, and about me, personally.  Well, I'm single and living with my equally neurotic cat, Etta.  I will be teaching 4th grade, Special Education Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science this upcoming school year.  I am, yes I'll admit it, a book-addict.  There are books littering the floor of my bedroom as they have now outgrown m 6' x 6' Expedit bookshelf.  I don't know where I'm going to put my bookcase when I move, but I have no choice but to bring it.  I'm thinking about getting rid of my television.
