Top 10 DIY Must Haves
By jasimarChallenge: You've just purchased a home. It's in decent shape - stuff works. But it could work better. And look better, too. You've got about $500. What 10 DIY tools or supplies do you grab at your local mega-home store and why? (If you can spend less, that'd be better).

In addition to Chris's suggestions, I'd also have to have a 1 or 2 foot level, an electric sander--probably orbital, and a ShopVac to get me started. Even with these additions, you'd still be under 500.
