Label removal

Coupla solutions from a winemaker's wife to get labels off bottles - fill with water and put it in the microwave until the water is pretty hot.  Let it sit in the microwave for a few minutes.  This softens the label from the inside.  It helps thos labels that have metallic designs on them as well.  We also use Goo-gone and for regular paper labels, just soak in water.  Some labels can be removed using salad oil.
