My fiance and I bought our first home--for either one of us--several months ago. A mid-century ranch, the home needed oodles of repairs. More than we realized before we bought it. Which is a good thing. Had I known that seven months into home ownership I would still be living in a home without a kitchen, I may have had second thoughts. But, I would like to think that the massive stone fireplace that divides the formal living room from the kitchen, the heart of pine celing, and the sprawling terrazzo floors, would've convinced me. I know that Craig would have inspite of the hindsight. Anyhoo, that's our story. So far.
