DIY and Recycled Sandles

There are many designs and techniques for making sandals. An easy way is to wrap a length of strap around the foot slotting it in and out of the sole. There are many ways to wrap the strap in order to create different designs.

The following instructions are for making a simple and popular style of sandal + a Teva look-a-like recycled from car tires. There is no reason why you cannot utilise your own creative resources to invent new designs by experimenting with a tape measure, pieces of tape, fabric or paper.
