I live in a little cottage (about 1000 SF) with a wrap-around porch in the mountains. One of my favorite things, besides the porch is our tiny guest house, which I'm currently fixing up.

Becoming self-sufficient is high on my priority list. So far I've started raising chickens for their eggs, next on the list is a worm bin, for quickly creating rich compost:

Make a Christmas Wreath

Now that Christmas decorating season has begun in earnest, here's a wreath I made for less than $8 in about 20 minutes:

I used a wreath form that I already had and a few supplies from the craft store (a package of sheet moss, a little white clip-on bird, 2 holiday berry picks and a little reindeer moss).
