Cute! I like the candle holders, they add an elaborate detail to the otherwise simple space. I'd prefer a brighter color for my own dining nook, but your is cute for sure. Also, are those gerbera daisies?

Plantlust: The nook is just about big enough to fit a Geo Metro or a Ford Fiesta in.  I used the most basic cheap-o Olympic black in an eggshell finish.  The window trim is whatever crappy semi-gloss non-white (navajo? swiss coffee?) that apartment buildings use.  Since I have to re-paint it when i move out, I chose not to paint the woodwork.  In a perfect world that would be hot white like the table.

nicko:  The table & chair set was given to me by my former neighbor.  It's vintage '50s or '60s.  I'm not much help there, i guess.  :\

Care to share where you found the table and chairs?  I have a need for a small breakfast nook table and chairs for a similarly small spot in the corner of my kitchen.

How big is the nook & what colours did you use for walls, ceiling & window trim?
