Well, I'm 38 born and raised in New York City. Married the love of my life and have 2 beautiful babies Joshua 1 year old and Leah 3 months old. I presently live in California. My wife and I own our 1st home, nothing big or trendy but instead small and cozy. However, needs major repairs. With a new take in life I have promised my self I will work hard to get us ahead. I'm starting out in all aspects of my new life, being married and being a father. I'm the bread and butter provider in my home so, everything i do I try to do my best at in providing for my wife and babies. My goal is to be able to remodel our nest and make it comfortable to live in...especially for our little ones.

My wife and I are hoping to be able to remodel our bathroom soon! our budget is somewhat out of reach and therefor we are limited as to what we can do... for starters. The sink you see on this pictures is a MUST GO! the estimate to get it replaced with a new one is about $350.00 give or take. Hi George!
Thanks for your comments on my profile!
In response to your question: "WHAT TIPS can you give is as in paiting the kitchen with a spanish style look?"
For a Spanish look, I would definitely lean more toward earthy tones, like a red clay sort of color, or brownish-yellows. I would also try to incorporate traditional Spanish tiles - maybe on your backsplash? Not sure if you already have tiles there. Of course, a faux finish on the paint would also add a very Spanish feel. Black iron hardware for doors will be a must if you're going Spanish. Not sure that you would necessarily have to paint the cabinets, but it might round everything out if you did.
Either way, good luck and have fun!

hi George, thanks for the friend request. Congrats on purchasing your new home. Be careful those fixer uppers end up turning into a money pit, lol. I am sure once you are done you and your wife will love it! I will try my best to give feedback on remodeling issues. Take care.

Hey George! I was just recently shopping for blue for my new craft room (soon to be posted about!) and was looking for a medium, warm earthy blue. Even trickier than picking out color is picking out the temperature of the color, I think, but Glidden categorizes their paint by the emotions they invoke. One of the categories is called "Natural & Comforting". I found some lovely blues in this category with names like Lakefront, Casual Blue and Stargazer. Now, I HATE Glidden paint. It's watery and doesn't cover well, generally speaking, so I took my Glidden paint chip to my Pittsburg (a very good paint that'll run you about 16 bucks a gallon for eggshell) paint dealer and had them mix up a gallon of Glidden's Casual Blue. Also, Glidden has a nice "color visualizer" which you can use to preview their paints. Of course they won't be the exact color of the actual paint, but the visualizer will help you get the idea! Hope this helps!!
P.S. Your profile pic (Joshua?) is DARLING!!
