Yard Art

By frithmobiles

I was putting the edgework in making a border for my grass in my backyard, when I was inspired to add some art.  One side is grass, the other is a water ditch / rut when it rains the water will channel it'self right out of my yard.  I can't stand soggy grass.  As I was adding the bricks I was at the end and instead of just going back....the artist in me said NO!  I must make art.  Anyway, I thought it turned (get it) out fun.

Now I see where the basic design for "Nigthmare Before Christmas" came from, Mr. Robert Smithson. Thanks for the info!!!

Yeah, I saw that jetty spiral in a mag once,  also saw landscape work by john frederick sendelbach.... really liked it.... a spiral that was a tail of a large lizard in a yard.  I think those images just stuck in me.  Plus I just like spirals.
