I love to create art, a big Calder fan obviously, musician (suzuki violin raised, a bass player in a band in the 80's) and follower of modern architecture, and just about everything mid century modern design style.

Born and raised in Champaign-Urbana, IL moved to Eureka, California in '79.  So beautiful up in Northern CA, giant redwoods, mountains, incredible ocean views ...and so very isolated and unpopulated. No wallmarts here! Yeah! A great place for artists to create.  Many green enviromentally organic thinkers here, and I am one of them.

Balancing tricks of the trade

TRY THESE FUN BALANCING TRICKS Fork and Spoon Take a spoon and fork and connect them together. Place a wooden toothpick in the fork center, just about 1/4" through the fork. Then balance the fork and spoon, then place it balanced on the edge of a glass. WOW! It is amazing! Even more amazing: at the balancing point (fulcrum) of the toothpick...lift off the glass and break the toothpick at the point of balance....then place it back on the very edge of the glass. Just say the mobiles...they are really cool. I use wall decals a lot and these would be a great addition to some of the modern designs.
