From queen size bed to a crib, How to do it?

I am having a second child and I was previously trying to make a sitting area out of a really cool queen size bed I have. I just have not finished it and now Im not going to have an office where I wanted the sitting so I thought it would be cool to take the head board and foot board and try and create a crib out of it. If anyone has any ideas on how to do this, PLEASE help. Can this even be done. |

Hi. There are lots of safety issues to be addressed with cribs. Air - being one of those factors. This is a beautiful bed frame - save it for another project (like perhaps a very fancy toy chest or bench seat?). In Texas we lose over 200 infants and toddlers per year and quite a few of them die in cribs. Be safe!
