Romantic Decorating on the Cheap?

Ok, it’s V-Day time, and I’m interested to hear if anyone has good suggestions for easy, affordable ways to romantically decorate a bedroom. Extra points if you can show us a picture. Have at it!

Interior decorators love to turn bedrooms into romantic hideaways. Their designs are meant to stimulate your senses… mostly visual… but you can also stimulate with scent and sound. The color and design choices often invoke a sense of relaxation and peace.

Thanks for the tips! I ended up making a bed canopy using about ten yards of red tulle. It was awesome!

How Cute Is That Idea? Red Tulle…. Sounds tacky, but I thought about how romantic it looks as a canopy at weddings with twinkle lights inside… and it hit me!!! This is a great, temporary idea for the romanitic evening you have in mind. ;-)

Thanks! It turned out really great! And the cool thing was, since I used 3M command strips to put it up, it was really easy to take down. No permanent damage to the ceiling!
