Kitchen Remodeling

My Mom is remodeling her kitchen and has changed her plan too many times to count.  She likes maple cabinets but also like white painted cabinets.  She likes a certain shade of granite composite but doesn’t know if that goes with the cabinets.  Should the floor be wood or tile?  It’s hard to plan the color and material combination with such small samples.  As we try to make a decision, we’ve searched the web for inspiration.  We’ve only been able to find showroom type images.  They all look blah, not homey.  I would describe my Mom’s style as traditional and eclectic.  She is drawn towards a French country palette and has a lot of original art around the kitchen.  We live in Florida so we need to keep the space cool and light (i add this because tile is a plus in a hot climate).  Does anyone know of good inspiration online of kitchen design and/or palettes?  Any other advice is welcome.  Thanks!
