And now the bracket I’m attaching to the ceiling is wiggly. I successfully this past weekend hung a coat rack using toggle bolts, but they scared me a bit because the wings seemed a little sticky (as in, perhaps sometimes wouldn’t wingout inside the wall). So I tried a Molly Bolt to hang a heavy mirror in my entry way with success (the wall was about 1” thick). I’ve been fretting a long time about how to use and which to use of these types of strong devices to hang my curtain brackets from the ceiling. Well, now bracket number 1 (I stopped there)is all wiggly ( not tight to the ceiling) because I’m thinking, if I remember correct that the ceiling seemed much less thick than the previous 1” wall when I drilled the hole. So basically I’ve deducted that I need to go back to the hardware store and get shorter Molly bolts or maybe something else all together for the remainder… My question then is: I understand these little buggers are not easy or pretty to remove—-How best to get that bracket #1 to firm up to the ceiling without removing and starting over? In the house, I have some expanding foam, a little tube of construction adhesive, gorilla glue..will any of these work or would you recommend something else ????

Yes, I can, but not until tonight. Thanks Bruno !
Basically, the Hollow Wall Anchor (molly) I used is for 5/8 to 1” wall thickness, and I think the ceiling wall was ony about 3/8” to 1/2” thick, so even fully tightened, the curtain rod bracket is wobbly. I’ll post picks tonight…

Sorry, we were having some problems with the image-upload button not showing up for some users. The bug should be fixed now, so you can try adding your image again. Thanks!
