Well, We bought a little 4 bedroom brick house in North East Texas about 2 years ago.   When I say little I mean 1400 sq ft.  This house is just a basic 1982 rectangular house.  It had, improvement done before we bought but nothing major; flooring(the cheapest the seller could find), paint, and a new roof.

We don't make a lot of money, but I want to start putting what we do make into this house to make it a warm and cozy home.

I intend to do some work in the kitchen-simple work that I can do myself with a couple of girlfriends over a weekend. I will also change out toilets this spring, and possible update the bathroom vanity/basins.

Another project in the near future is painting and decorating my 13 year daughters bedroom.

I look forward to everyones input.
