Fairmount Bungalow is the online journal of the restoration of our pre-1920â€™s house located in the historic Fairmount Historic Neighborhood of Fort Worth, Texas. Our house was â€œrestoredâ€ by the previous owners -- which basically means that they covered everything up with white paint, sheetrock, and other â€œcurrentâ€ methods. I will say that I do appreciate the updated electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning, but the rest we could really do without. So, we are now in the process of restoring this house, as much as possible anyway, back to the way it would have been in the 1920â€™s, with the exception of the kitchen.

Introduce Myself...

By fairmountbungalow Not sure if there's an "introduce oneself" place or discussion place, but I'm just gonna do it here.
