A Welcome Welcome!

By erinloechner

Welcome mat, via Lizzie Ridout. Am sort of loving these 'Welcome Mats' a la Lizzie Ridout.

But spend bookoos of dough on my guest's feet? Never!

How about simply having the neighborhood kids write a similar message in sidewalk chalk? I'm thinking of herding a few myself for a creative welcome like this one. May not get your guest's feet clean, but who cares? You'll make a fun, bold statement and keep the kids busy for an afternoon.

Can't go wrong!

I've got a fun, bold welcome mat for ya, but I'm not sure where you'd go to get it. It was a gift.

This is really neat! (or messy depending on the way you look at it)

It may look cool, but I think it's something that you'd only have the patience to do once. Personally, I just like how the type loogs on the wood grain :-)
