Garage 101: Color Palette

By erinloechner

So, after much discussion about browns and yellows and retros and carpeting, my husband and I decided we'd go back to the drawing board. Without a vision, there could be no budget and without a budget, there could be no furnishings.

So we started to brainstorm. Ken wanted a "Man's Office," and I wanted a cute fun project to show my girlfriends. After many Taco Bell runs and even more spoonfuls of ice cream, we settled on our theme: Retro Office/Bachelor Pad.

And because every theme must have a vision, we added a color palette: Browns, Oranges and Mustards with White.

And because every vision must have a starting point, we found the most brilliant fabric from ReproDepot.

We plan to use the fabric to re-upholster a few office chairs we've found. From there, it's all left to the imagination.

Next stop? Paint palette.
