CraigsListRoundup: Thursday, March 22nd!

By erinloechner

Spring has officially sprung in Craig's Land. Check out the latest finds from L.A. that scream "Spring is here!"

Van Briggle Vase: $65
If this doesn't make you think spring, I don't know what will. A great piece whether it's rain or shine. Would be a great centerpiece in a mod, funky cherry-red kitchen, or would soften any outdoor party with white linens and some overhead lanterns.

I love the detailing around the rim and the balance between hard surfaces and flowing curves. Beautiful piece.

Eames Plywood Set: $500
MAJOR STEAL ALERT. An original Eames set, these pieces call for an indoor setting, but can make your porch look like a modern day movie set (just make sure you shield it from harsh environmental conditions... trust me, you treat Eames like you treat your children).

I'd love this as a laidback card table in a den, or maybe even a more modern piece for your breakfast parlor. However you slice it, this is a major score if you're into the Herman Miller era.

Ornate Headboard: $250
Wow. This piece makes me think of Sound of Music (don't ask why, b/c I couldn't tell you). And I also don't know why it screams 'spring', but I do know that it's making me wish I had an extra bedroom, b/c I would decorate an entire room around this headboard.

The perfect balance of feminine and masculine, with the ornate filigree detailing in a manly finish, I'd love this for a couple's master bedroom suite. I'd pair this with some down linens and sconces for framing... the perfect hotel feel to give you the coziest dreams of your lifetime.

Teal Filing Cabinets: $30 each
I love these for any home office that doesn't make you want to throw on your suit and tie. After all, work should be fun, right?

I'd showcase these filing cabinets in a room with hardwood floors, complete with a bright red chandelier and ivory mini-shades. Add a shaggy rug and a few mustard bookshelves and you've got a home office that would make Kelly Wearstler blush.

Happy spring, Curbly! See you on Tuesday.

That headboard is too beautiful. I'd love to pair it with some rich dark brown or deep red bedding.

Hi there... Longtime lurker, delurking with a question for all you CL experts.  (And if this sounds familiar, yes, I did post the same question on an open thread on AT.)  Is it just my imagination, or is there a ton of great stuff on CL right now?  I'm in Seattle, but I assume the laws of nature are the same everywhere.  Is it that everyone is springcleaning, or is it the fact that I'm moving in a month and am broke and I want what I cannot have?

Today I saw a sofa, a credenza, a table, and a shelf I wanted.  Should I take a deep breath and tell myself there will be equally good deals in April, May, June...  Or is that, in fact, not true, and I should jump right now?

That headboard is amazing! It would go perfectly in my bedroom. If only I could ship it for free from L.A. to Milwaukee.
