Eames Postage for Mid-Century Mod Fans!

By eichler

Pardon my giddiness however I just discovered that the United States Postal Service (USPS) will be producing a limited run, special edition stamp later this year dedicated to Charles & Ray Eames.

For mid-century modern design and architecture fans, it looks like we will need to sacrifice our email communications for a while, rollings things back to old school communications via the mail.     I'm already contemplating how I might be able to utilize these stamps for a friendly mailer to my Eichler clients and other design fans and mid-century modern home owners in Marin & San Francisco.

Kudos to the US Postal Service for these great Eames stamps! Charles and Ray Eames Stamps by the United States Postal Service

Yeaaaa!  I love architectural and design stamps.  I was hooked on the noguchi stamps until they discontinued them.  I had to move on to Super Heros for awhile.  Now I'll stock up on the mid-mod stamps.  Thanks for the FYI.
