My favorite reading area.

Did some "de-cluttering" and got rid of an old, ugly couch.

After "De-Cluttering" the end of my living room by packing up three shelves full of glass I had on display (Pressed glass, Depression glass and vintage - it was quite a job!) I found I had plenty of room to put some of my thrift store furniture there. Lot's of room in the middle and I think I am finally starting to understand that I don't have to have absolutely ALL my stuff on display at the same time. Best to rotate them to maintain freshness..

This is our porch, it also is home to a school of goldfish in the warmer months. There is a mini pond built in, left of the porch. Used to be a planter. Porch is not entirely finished, you can see the holes. :)

We got the table and chairs from Williams Sonoma. I kind of despise that table, since it's too small. I want something bigger, but we can't afford a Heywood-Wakefield set, so I guess we're stuck with it for the time being. That contraption in the background is my knitting machine. I really have to start using that thing again.

Kyle bought those two Heywood-Wakefield end tables off Craigslist or eBay or something. They're way cool. The big Shag print is my absolute fave: "Wives with Knives". Kyle hated that one and didn't want me to buy it, but I won out.
