Potting Plants: Recycle/Reuse

I found a great way of reusing some lighting globes (I recently replaced all of mine with white globes and new fixtures so I won't have to look at naked bulbs)- they make fabulous belljars. At my house, belljars not only help with moisture and humidity for the plants, they also deter a couple of felines from munching on the leaves.
Better yet- my sister gave me this great idea to recycle the long searched for, most coveted ice cream tub. Call me crazy, but after looking so long for this extra-special Ben & Jerry's flavor, I was reluctant to part with it, even when the ice cream was hastily consumed.
I made a few drainage holes:
Then filled it with my potting mix, added a plant, and used the lid as a saucer (perfect!):
