Always looking for creative ideas, particularly for displaying photos and storing all kinds of *stuff*.

I love taking photos of everything, just an amateur though, with a digital point & shoot and a lovely old school Canon Elan. 

My home is a small townhouse, it is always a work in progress.  Space-wise it is tolerable, it's just me and my son... plus 2 cats and a small dog.  We have enough books to stock a personal library, but no spare room to set it up as such- someday!

Potting Plants: Recycle/Reuse

Get in touch with your earthy side, recycle and reuse when potting your houseplants!  I found a great way of reusing some lighting globes (I recently replaced all of mine with white globes and new fixtures so I won't have to look at naked bulbs)-  they make fabulous belljars.  At my house, belljars not only help with moisture and humidity for the plants, they also deter a couple of felines from munching on the leaves.  Better yet- my sister gave me this great idea to recycle the long searched for, most coveted ice cream tub.  Call me crazy, but after looking... »MORE

EmilyJayne, I just use an inexpensive Nikon E5600 for my digital photos... someday I may be able to upgrade to the Canon 20D that I covet, but this works out for me for now!
