A craft room to call my very own!
By alixiSo, I haven't been very active in Curbly since joining. Mostly because my husband and I got married recently, and also because we have been fixing up our house. We're both crafty in our own ways, I sew and bead, he makes furniture in his spare time, when we're not doing our own construction.
Santa came early this year, bringing us drywall sheets, mud, 2x4's and paint; with which we created a sewing/craft room for myself, and a small w » READ MORE
What will be under RoadVermins Tree?
By roadverminIt was so so hard to decide what to choose from the myriad of DIY delights available at Amazon. This was made even harder by the fact that alot of the really cool stuff doesnt ship overseas which concerns us as we live in France. So I had to say bye bye to the beautiful Dremel multi tool, farewell to the twelve month subscription to Make magazine and au revoir to the nifty compression clamps I spotted.

A painting a month in 2007...
By elizabethperryI have been learning to draw by drawing every day in sketchbooks for almost two years (and posting the pictures to my blog). I have had a lot of fun with this project, but you can't really decorate a room with a bunch of little sketchbooks alone, so I would like to make a set of pictures to put on my walls in the coming year.
So here is my list:

True DIY
By lucien My list is semi-inspired by the do-it yourself mantra. I love building things, completing projects on my own and having that true sense of accomplishment. I think thats the reward in doing things on your own. Actually making it happen all by yourself in a project that is best left to the professionals. If most people had the tools and the patience they could "do it yourself". So that's why I am asking for grinders and toolsets. I » READ MOREcookware set
