ABOUT SKREENED
SKREENED put's you in the shoes of the fashion designer. Make yourself a micro-fashion-mogule by selling your apparel designs online. You can even just make a shirt for yourself. You just upload a picture, and they print it directly onto a shirt -- dead simple (and a great idea for christmas, wink, wink, nudge, nudge). They also have a very cool vision for the company which you should check out if you get a chance, and they print on American Apparel clothing (which is hip as heck and also has a cool mission).

Countertop Greenhouse
By Whamodyne

Closet Made More Efficient
By booizzy
Growing up in Minnesota, my house had a big mudroom leading into the kitchen. My current house has only a little closet kitty corner to the front door. Not only is this arrangement pretty dull-looking, it's very awkward. To improve the corner, I took off the door, painted the inside of closet, and replaced the old rod with hooks. The end result is a much more efficient closet that makes the corner look better and holds a lot more coats. Cost:Paint: $10 for a quart or free if you have some leftover from another projectHooks: $1.50 and up »MORE

The lady who owned the house we moved into, her husband used to paint. He was awful, but his paintings were framed in these amazing frames. He's dead now so I'm sure he doesn't mind I threw out his artwork (the lady took the good ones with her anyway) and put in some $1 fabric I found in Value Village instead. It looks classy! \ »MORE
