Update: I've reclaimed my tiny office!

After a trip to IKEA and a couple of hours...okay...days of sorting and editing, I've reclaimed my space. I was on the hunt for a small drawer unit and decided on this gray metal unit ($40!) that fits perfectly under my desk. I chose metal over wood for it's longevity and durability. I was going to buy it in white or red but at the last minute I decided the silver would be best should I decide to change the color scheme in my livingroom. I've labeled each draw to keep things in their designated place. I still have to go through the hanging files you see under the desk, but that's for another day. I also bought a couple of the white boxes you see on top of the wall shelf. One is empty so I have room to grow. I still feel that the area is a bit cluttered, but at least there is less visual chaos.

Before I took these pictures, kiddynomite reminded me of the small cork board I had under the desk. I've put it up and hope to make it useful. 

I threw in a picture of the frame I bought with the IKEA girft certificate I won. It matches my headboard perfectly!

Hi acsche, I bought the flowers at Pier 1 about a year ago (fake). The vase was from Target.
