The wall behind the picture not so big, it just a bit bigger than a pic. I live in old townhouse, it not so big too, but I wanted something as a focal point, a wow effect.

Thanks, Cheryll. Love the phrase 'over the hill but pleased with the view' - I'll have to remember that.
SWMBO teaches card-making at a local rural institute - she makes no claims to be an expert, just a case of 'in the land of the blind...' In a rural show last week, one of her cards came second to an entry from a lady she had just taught cardmaking a week before! I don't think she could have been more pleased if she'd won herself! But she did get a couple of prizes for knitting and x-stitch.
If you're really into your craftmaking, think about a page on Webshots - it's free and a good forum for pictures. SWMBO has one at http://community.webshots.com/user/joyloob/ - it's a great way to get your work seen, and easier than constantly emailing pictures to friends.
As for my picture - the wife wants a big blowup to hang above the fireplace. She reckons it should keep the bairns away from the fire...
