oil on canvas panel , 15cm x 15 cm ,This is one of my "Dog Portraits", a series I am working on.

Again, with my fake screen printing technique. I spent HOURS doing these, but it was all for a good cause. When the SPCA would hold adoption events at Petsmart and the like, people wouldn't always be able to tell which animals were pets and which were up for adoption. This was my cheap (free to them) solution. I didn't sew any of these vests or bandannas at the time, but I applied vinyl stencils and painted them (3-5 coats on each). At one point, over 50 dogs sported these in a parade in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan.

It was all a labor of love. I miss the SPCA of SW Michigan.

Impressionistic Photo Art.

When I was in the army, station in rural France, I photographed this shepherd and his dog. A few days later, a group of farmers showed up. When I finally figured out what they wanted, it was a copy of the picture I had taken. The poor shepherd had died and his widow wanted a photo to remember him by.

His first trip to the beach...all tuckered out.

Nutty is our dog! She's spoiled and we love her! She insists on going to the dog park daily and Coronado Dog Beach on the weekends.
