Hello! I am a apartment-dweller in Arlington, VA - a suburb of DC. Our place is pretty average "young people" looking at the moment. Ikea budget, DWR taste... just like a lot of people.

nothing makes our home happier than having friends over - except for having people over and making food for them! we are really lucky to have a space for a full dining table (Ikea table, Ikea + CB2 chairs) even if we do not have a defined "dining room". I love to have little dinner parties, for four people or ten. on this occasion, just before my birthday, we had so many people we did not have enough forks! nontheless, I insisted on everybody sitting down and eating a proper meal - even if I had to hop up and... »MORE
