Closet Made More Efficient

Growing up in Minnesota, my house had a big mudroom leading into the kitchen. My current house has only a little closet kitty corner to the front door. Not only is this arrangement pretty dull-looking, it's very awkward. To improve the corner, I took off the door, painted the inside of closet, and replaced the old rod with hooks. The end result is a much more efficient closet that makes the corner look better and holds a lot more coats.
