Niermann Weeks Montaigne Floor Lamp. the lines of this is like jewelry, or like a sculpture. perfect in aliving room. Or, perhaps a pair instead of table lamps.

Ty Larkin's home (via Cote de Texas) has chevron floors throughout the main floor.

One of my favorite stores in Atlanta, Mrs. Howard, has chevron pattern floors in one of their rooms (you can see a tiny bit in this picture). The entire store is designed like a home, and the rooms have the most beautiful architectural details. James Howard (husband to Phoebe Howard) is an interior and architectural designer, and designed all of the architectural features in Phoebe Howard's stores (Mrs. Howard and Max & Company).

Hubby and I, well mostly hubby, layed the marble tiles. I decided on the layout. We picked tiles together. I wanted brown walls, he wasn't so sure, but helped me pick out a shade he could live with. We are both very happy with it. He did the wood trim. Routing and staining are his jobs too. I do help route. I came up with the style for the window and door trim. Very reminicent of late Victorian homes and into the Craftsman era.
