we just bought our first house this past summer and are looking for inspiration and ideas to make our house a home, and our poorly landscaped yard a place to relax.

goals for this coming spring and summer are to paint the interior of our house, refinish wood floors, and re-do the gigantic deck outside. also, make the front yard and curbside more cheerful.

hopefully by winter we will have plans to finish the basement, complete with a media room, an area for the dogs to play, and a bigger bathroom.

welcome!  one way to get some inspiration would be to write a "question" blog post describing something you'd like advice on (such as your 2nd pic, the one with yellow paint). ;)  any questions or problems with the site, send me an email: ben at curbly dot com
