this makes me wish i needed a dining table. i'm kind of grossed out by the idea of an i-pod dock in the table sturface, but the other features are brilliant. slim silverware drawer and hinged storage compartment, for example. i suspect a lot of people would fall in love with it just because of the shape.

i just discovered an alternate site by this company that has more information. happily, it says the table is also available in black. sadly, it also costs $8000. (also, it's pretty lame that it only plays nicely with apple ipods, not other types of players.)
