Help me identify this desk? please?

By bhikkhu Image024_large

We came across this desk at an antique mall a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, someone had purchased it just a few minutes before we had gotten there.  The back part (letter boxes and compartments) actually hinges backwards so that you can have a full flat top desk. When you lift it up (as pictured) the back of the desk has paper sized compartments for storing additional paper.  It's pretty brilliant, and I love the look... but I don't know anything about it...  I'd like to be able to setup some searches for something similar, but I don't know what keywords to use... »MORE

espresso laminate confessions

By bhikkhu Win%20bed3_s

okay, so I screwed up. I started building a platform bed before I had really investigated everything. I planned to have my lumber cut into nice pieces to make it easier to transport and handle. Then I would cover it with a beautiful/modern/trendy espresso veneer, and the seams would be hidden. (I know, veneer makes me a cheapskate, but it's certainly worth the $2,845 I'm saving against the bed I want) The problem is, I can't find the espresso/black veneer anywhere!!! Does anybody know where one can get something like this? I have seen similiar products ranging from formica to veneer... »MORE

Thanks so much for that! I'm actually not from Indy, exactly... My legal residence as of right now is in Kokomo (where my parents live), but I actually live, work, and go to school in Muncie... since Kokomo and Muncie were both missing from the list, I figured Indy was the best option b/c it's in between the two... I might join that though... I'm already picking up some stuff this week from a woman in Indy that I met on craigslist.com, so i'm definetly not opposed to it if the stuff is good...

hmm, you know, i don't have a lot in downtown indy of the buildings, etc. i am really into urban/abandoned, so that was really my focus. i am going to come back in march and could do some stuff for you if you want, though. i shoot either film or digital and i could get whatever you want! i think i have some pics of a few churches/cathedrals, but that's about it!
