In designing a compact space like this, creating a feeling of space and refinement is of utmost importance. Drawing inspiration from the female owner's love for florals, we took our cues from elements found in a garden and infused the space with a subtle sense of tamed wilderness - floral prints, stones, raw wood, greenery etc.

I could see myself relaxing in this room! The carpet placement is unusual but I like it, and I also love the idea of one major piece of artwork serving as a focal point in the room.

I think it's wood,ike the strips you use on floors. Yup, didn't like the bedbase too.

love that "headboard" is it extended from the wall? and up to ceiling i suppose. what kind of material is that? im not diggin the captain bed, i have one and i hate it. but thats me.
